DCCA DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM

Documents to Complete:

  1. Apply to DCCA Home School High School dual credit program (DCCA Application).
    An email will be sent within 24 hours letting you know if you are accepted. The email will help you set up your DCCA Family Account, which will give you access to our transcript maker, list of all approved classes, management of student account to pay the yearly $265 fee to join for the school year. The admissions coordinator will then contact you to collect paperwork and help with any questions you may have to complete the process.
  2. Download, Print and Complete the Dual Credit Admissions Packet for DCCA students. (Download link)
  3. Submit in Email all completed paperwork by scanning it into one PDF formatted document, Email Subject line: DCCA (Student Name and College ID#) and submit to Admissions.

Guidelines for Enrollment:

  • Students must be homeschooled
  • Students must be 9th through 12th grade
  • Students must be a Texas resident
  • Students can take up to full time dual credit course with passing TSI scores and DCCA approval (Recommended 1-2 classes first semester)
  • Students will receive tuition waivers for all approved dual credit classes.

Disclaimer: Acceptance into the DCCA Dual Credit program requires new students to have at least an 3.0 GPA*. Once accepted into the program, they must maintain an GPA of 2.1 or higher to stay in good standing. If the GPA falls to 2.0, student will be put on academic probation and not allowed to take more than 2 classes a semester until their GPA is raised. If a student makes lower than 2.0 in a class (D or F), they will be required to retake that class (at their own expense) and pass with 2.0 or higher in order to be in the DCCA program. **4.0(A), 3.0(B), 2.0(C) * or 2.5 GPA under certain circumstances
